Principal's Message

Randy Ittner, Principal

Welcome to Placer School for Adults (PSA). I am honored to become the new principal at PSA. As a middle and high school principal in Placer County for the past 16 years, I am excited to continue assisting adults' in their education plans. For the past nine years, I have had the opportunity to work with my predecessor Eric Vereyken and observed his excellent leadership qualities. Eric's clear leadership and vision have significantly impacted adult students within the Sierra Joint Consortium. The consortium leverages the strengths of the members and partners to deliver outstanding adult education programs and services to our students across the region. The consortium includes Placer School for Adults, Nevada County Adult Education, Roseville Adult Education, Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, and Sierra College.

PSA continues to offer a variety of classes to our community. We offer day and evening classes throughout the school year to fit your educational needs. Our programs include Career Technical Education (CTE), including 5 Career Pathways (Building and Construction, Business and Finance, Health and Medical Technology, Manufacturing and Product Development and Workforce Preparation), English as a Second Language (ESL); Adult Basic and Secondary Education (High School Diploma and High School Equivalency – GED), Personal Enrichment (watercolor, painting, drawing, calligraphy, basic organ and keyboarding, blacksmithing, copper fold forming, and iPhone classes.)

We have dedicated and caring teachers and support staff who are here to serve and support your needs and assist you in achieving your goals.
